The standout number is charge speed. EcoFlow's X-Stream fast charging takes the RIVER 3 from empty to full in about an hour from a wall outlet — quicker than the C300's already-fast 80%-in-50-minutes figure — which matters more for a small battery that gets topped off between uses than for one that sits in a closet. 550W of continuous output covers the same phones-laptops-router-CPAP lineup as its Anker rival, with 600W of surge headroom for brief spikes.

The tradeoffs mirror the category: no motor-driven appliances, no expansion path, and a battery this small means an actual outage means recharging it more than once a day if you're running anything continuously. For campers, a first emergency-kit purchase, or simply the lowest possible entry price into real LFP power, it's a legitimate second option alongside the SOLIX C300 rather than a clear upgrade or downgrade.
