The 100592 exists to win that bet, and it does — 3,500 running watts handles refrigeration, the furnace blower (via a proper connection or a cord to a furnace outlet kit), lights, and device charging simultaneously.
The compromises are all visible on the spec sheet: pull start and no 240V. What isn't on the spec sheet is that Champion's build quality at this price is meaningfully better than the no-name Amazon brands $100 cheaper — this is the floor where we'd still trust the machine in year five.
